Ian Mannering (Photography)

Ian started out in photography in his late teens as a photographers assistant and later became a documentary photographer in the forces, covering activities both in the UK and overseas.

Entering the civilian arena as a professional photographer in 1975, he has worked for a Record Producer, Electronics publications and Model Agency.

His freelance (self employed) endeavors have involved Weddings, Portraits, Fashion, portfolio's for models, Commercial, Industrial and Corporate, with much of his work being published in a number of magazines, newspapers, brochures, posters, billboards and catalogues.

He has been based here in Telford, Shropshire since 1983 and concentrates mainly on providing a comprehensive photography service for Models and Performing Artists in Portraits, Fashion, Glamour, Figure to any level and style.

He works strictly on a tfp/tfcd with models that inspire and show real enthusiasm, but must be creative, genuine and sincere.
He works on locations around the UK and is receptive to the ideas/suggestions of others, he also works from his home-studio with full facilities (multi-studio flash, backgrounds, props etc).

He is always happy to hear from models (with or without experience) wishing to work on projects like... Goth, Alt, Humour, Fantasy, Burlesque, Pin-up, Art/Nude etc…
